As Brokers, we provide services to our clients either as sales agents or as purchasing agents:

• As exclusive sales agents, we effect the sale of a client's aircraft.  Starting with a comparative value analysis based on actual market transactions, we design and execute a targeted marketing campaign to sell the aircraft in a timely manner for its optimal value.
• As exclusive purchasing agents, we present prospective buyers utilizing our experience and extensive knowledge of the market.  From helping to determine the type of aircraft to be purchased, to selection the specific aircraft, its contracting, inspection, and its delivery, we guide and protect the buyer through the entire purchasing process of the aircraft.  

As Principals we can accept trade-ins to facilitate a brokerage transaction or purchase qualified aircraft for our own account.  For this purpose we maintain credit lines with major financial institutes to be able to act expeditiously and efficiently. 

As  Broker or as Principal we rely on a network of experienced A&P Mechanics, Technicians, Engineers, and a number of Designated Airworthiness or Engineering Representatives for technical expertise and know-how. For contracting and/or legal advise we have been working with Alvin Friedman, Esq, an experienced aviation lawyer based in Washington, D.C.  

How did it all begin? After having begun to sell aircraft at WheelAir in the late 60’s and a four year stint with National Aero Associates, Rod O’Shea incorporated U.S. Aircraft Sales in 1975. The company soon outgrew its space at Elm Street and in 1984 moved to its new more spacious office on Beverly Road. Equidistant between IAD (Dulles Airport) and DCA (Reagan National Airport), the office is located in the business district of McLean, Virginia about 14 miles from the White House in Washington, D.C.  A satellite office was established Fort Myers, Florida in 2005.

With its local staff in the United States and associates in Canada, Germany, Russia, and Brazil, the company has consummated more than 1,000 aircraft transactions, selling, buying and leasing corporate aircraft specializing in size from the larger turboprops to helicopters, medium and large business jets to executive airliners. Transcending time zones, our business is global. We have sold a taiwanese aircraft to a buyer in New Zealand; a Norwegian Buyer bought from us an aircraft hailing from the Ukraine and on and on covering every continent with the exception of Antarctica.

Our clients have been individuals, corporations, governmental agencies or heads of state. Our senior brokers have been together as a team for over twenty years. Our acquisitions and market analysts specialize in different sections of the market. We are thus able to provide immediate and up-to-date market valuations for a given aircraft. To create synergy and combine detailed knowledge with experience, we form teams to adjust quickly and efficiently to meet any challenge and satisfy our clients' needs.
